Welcome to Sunny Days

Welcome to Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services, Inc.!  Founded in 1994 by two Healthcare Professionals, Joyce Salzberg, LCSW and Donna Maher, RN, they bring a combined  45 years of experience working with children with developmental disabilities and their families to the early intervention community.

Sunny Days is an Early Intervention Provider serving children from birth to three years with developmental needs.   Our services are provided wherever children and families typically find themselves, whether it be the home; child care settings or other community (parks; playgrounds; shopping; etc.) locations (parks; playgrounds; shopping; etc.).  We provide a full range of services, including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Special Instruction and Psychological services, specifically tailored to each child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).  Our Educators/Therapists design intervention strategies that are built around a family’s daily routines and activities.  Sunny Days of NY can provide all necessary services including initial evaluations (to determine eligibility) all IFSP authorized services to individuals of all developmental levels ages 0-3.

Sunny Days also provides pediatric home care for children up to 18 years of age. Sunny Days offers a variety of personalized and individualized services according to the specific needs of each child and family. All staff have specialized experience in both Early Intervention and Pediatric home care.

Sunny Days of NY opened originally on Staten Island, NY in January 2002.  We have since opened office location in Manhattan and Brooklyn.  Sunny Days of NY provides service coordination, evaluations, ongoing service provision as well as ABA services to Autistic children throughout all five boroughs of New York.
