SUNNY DAYS ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY
Assistive technology devices are pieces of modern equipment that help developmentally delayed infants and toddlers learn how to reach their full potential. The list of assistive technology is long and varied, but the philosophy behind each technology's development is that it will somehow help a child to perform tasks that would have otherwise been impossible due to a disability.
SUNNY DAYS SPECIAL INSTRUCTION
Also known as "developmental intervention," special instruction is an approach to promoting your child's skill development in many different developmental areas, including social interaction and cognition. All of us are busy, and every family structure is different. Sunny Days evaluates family schedules and structures and shows parents how to make their unique living conditions work for their children. We conduct early intervention services that ensure the love and guidance you're giving to your little ones is felt by them in a way that maximizes the benefit they receive from learning from you.
SUNNY DAYS PHYSICAL THERAPY
Many children are born with neurological conditions that cause them to have sensory and/or motor function troubles. These troubles can be overcome, and Sunny Days will help your child overcome them. Our play-based physical therapy programs help children to improve their motor and sensory skills by teaching them how to interact with their surroundings while they have fun. It looks like playtime because it is – but it's also learning time!
SUNNY DAYS OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
If your child has unique functional needs, he or she may need adaptive development help. Adaptive development simply means self-care, personal-social responsibility, self-sufficiency, and social interaction. By working together to better your child's functional abilities, we'll impart the skill set he or she needs to perform tasks at home, school, and in community settings. Sometimes, assistive technology is used to aid the learning process.

Does your child have difficulty communicating with other children? Are you afraid that he or she has fallen behind the language learning curve? Sunny Days will diagnose your child's specific disorder or developmental delay in a comfortable family-friendly atmosphere. As with all developmental delays, it's important to have the difficulty assessed before your child is three years old. With the knowledge gained from an early evaluation, together we can help your child overcome the delay and have fuller, richer communications with others throughout his or her life.
