Overview:
This simple overview of virtual early intervention uses family friendly language to provide parents and other caregivers with an idea of what to expect if they will be receiving any of their recommended EI services virtually. A brief video clip of a family receiving virtual physical therapy services and the family’s positive reaction to the experience is included. This module can easily be shown to families during the Family Information Meeting or IFSP by Service Coordinators to gauge their interest in exploring this method of service delivery.

Intended Audience:
This module is intended for parents of all eligible children being considered for virtual EI services as well as grandparents or other caregivers authorized by parent to participate in virtual EI sessions. Service Coordinators will also need to be familiar with this content as they will be responsible for sharing this module with families.
