Sunny Days, Inc. Acquires Gore Therapy Center

Gore Therapy Center Building

On April 1, 2021, Sunny Days, Inc., one of the nation’s leading early intervention and autism services providers, acquired Gore Therapy Center, a premier pediatric therapy clinic in Southwest Oklahoma that provides comprehensive speech, occupational, physical, and feeding therapy for children from birth through eighteen.

Gore Therapy Center was established in 2011 by Aileen Sadler, OTR/L, and Greta Worthington, MS, CCC-SLP. Both therapists had been working independently in private practice and recognized the need for more comprehensive pediatric therapy services with a focus on a team approach.

In just 10 years, Gore Therapy Center has grown to be one of the area’s leading providers of pediatric therapy services.

In addition to being aligned  with Gore’s mission and core values, Sunny Days is also 100% practitioner owned, founded in 1994 by two healthcare professionals — Joyce Salzberg, LCSW and Donna Maher, RN — whose passion for quality healthcare  is core to its mission.

Sunny Days' acquisition is part of their expansion of center-based services.

Sunny Days Sunshine Centers offer children and their families a place for developmental services and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) therapy. Their centers are designed to promote positive behavior, increase quality of life, and enable individuality, embracing each child and their individual needs. The Sunshine Center is dedicated to children of all ages who may be experiencing challenges with learning, social skills, sensory processing, speech/language difficulties and/or motor development.

Sunny Days is excited to make this transition with Gore Therapy Center, and continuing care alongside families, in the Lawton/Fort Sill and SW Oklahoma area, providing the same high standard of service to help all children develop to their full potential.
