Arielle Ryden has been with Sunny Days as a Program Director in California since 2015. In her tenure with Sunny Days, Arielle has overseen multiple Early Start programs throughout the state, created coordinated and efficient statewide systems, and developed a strong team of providers. With her colleague Colleen Hernandez, Arielle has worked to develop innovative training materials on the parent coaching model for our California team.

Arielle is dedicated to the wellbeing of children and families and has 25 years of leadership experience in the field of early childhood education. Notably Arielle previously founded, developed and managed the Family Services Program at the Los Angeles LGBT Center. For seven years, Arielle ran all aspects of the program, from facilitating a weekly parent/infant playgroup to offering a variety of parenting classes to training more than a thousand service providers and educators on how to support the needs of LGBTQ families. Arielle has a BA from Brandeis University.
