Carmela has over 25 years of experience in providing Pediatric Physical Therapy Services in natural environments, schools, and hospitals. She is responsible for creating new trainings focused on refining the clinical skills of the Sunny Days' practitioners in New Jersey.

Ms. Hanna joined Sunny Days in 2006 as a Pediatric Physical Therapist Specializing in Early Intervention. She has both a DPT and MS in Physical Therapy from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. In addition to providing Pediatric Physical Services, Carmela has also worked with the New Jersey Special Olympics in a variety of capacities, and has been actively in and led several data driven and research projects in her field.
